I have a bunch of tropical fruit in my borders, if i was to cut down the jungles that they are in would the fruit turn into a grassland resource?

Resources on Jungle and Forest terrain remain after the terrain is cleared.

And tropical fruits are bonus food resources so they will never be exhausted.

The editor will let you put them on marsh, but it will let you put a cow on BG tiles as well. I can't recall ever seeing either of them in an epic game.

I've had fish on marshland before. Grassland fish, woot! It was crazy, I had the tile irrigated and rr'd, and it was some huge number of food. I forget how much, exactly.

Another resource question: If you clear terrain before the resource has been "discovered", this nullifies your chances of getting that resource after it is discovered....right? i.e. if you clear your swampland early, you probably won't find rubber in those tiles later....right?

I believe that the initial placement of strategics will remain, even if you clear a forest/jungle/marsh tile before you can see the resource. However, if the resource is depleted, it can only reappear on a tile that is currently a legal place for the resource.

That is correct. Once the computer places, say, rubber on that forest tile, it will appear there whether or not the forest has been cleared.

I think it would be 6/0/2 F/S/C.

Grassland = 2FPT
Irrigation = +1FPT
Road = +1CPT
RR = +1FPT (irrigated)
Fish = +2FPT, +1CPT
