I dont get how the resources play into corporations.
I founded sid's sushi corp last nite and was able to
place the hq into a city that didnt have access to
any of the resources required by the corporation.
Well I had access to them, but not in the city's fat
cross. I was also able to make exec's and send them
to other cities that also that didnt have direct access to
the required resources. The civopedia info on corps is
so vague im more confused after reading it.

Also once I founded Sids sushi I was getting offers from
other civ's to buy or trade for the resources that the corp
required even tho I already had them available to my civ.
So do I get some kind of bonus for having 3 clams vs just 1?
And if so, should I NOT be trading my excess clams\fish\rice to
other civs?

You don't need the resource in your cross; you just need access to it.

Yes, you get the same bonus if you have 3 clams as if you have 1 clam, 1 fish, and 1 crab. The maintenance also goes up as you get more resources to use.

I had Mining Inc and was pulling +16 hammers per turn in each city, but it also cost -19 maintenance per city. You NEED the corporation spread to foreign cities to gain some money back. If the maintenance is too high, trading away some seafood should slightly reduce the maintenance (and the benefit.)

So for each extra resource I get, the better the bonus each city will get
as long as it has that corp there? like with sids sushi corp for example, if
I aquired 3 crabs,3 clams, 3 fish, 3 rice from my own territory and/or from trading, then I will have a much bigger food bonus\maintence costs per city
compared to just having 1 crab, 1 fish, 1 rice, 1 clams?
