I was just wondering how anyone/everyone felt about UU's retaining their abilities when upgraded ...
I wlways feel slighted when I upgrade a CoE Assassin to a Marksman and loose the ability to cast Mask ... I have no Idea how to remedy this as; as far as I understand, the Mask ability is class specific and it's very difficult to give Marksmen MAsk and not the other Archer units ...
maybe it's a mental thing but maybe if marksmen were upgraded from archers/longbowmen/Nightwatch I wouldn't feel it was an issue ... but on the same note I think Nightwatch should have the mask ability and not just start out HN ... seems to be more appropriate to how I understand CoE ...
this leads me to the retention of every UU's unique abilities when they're upgraded ...
Mimics (I avoid upgrading to Immortal because they loose their Mimic ability ... quick fix would be to work on Belseraph Immortals ... I got lots of Ideas ... think a cross between Peter Pan, the villain from that movie The Cell, and a nightmare that Tim Burton might have after a night of Acid, Jim Rose and Cirque Du Soleil) ... or of course it could be made a promotion but I think the Belseraph Immortals need a face-lift anyway
Divided Souls ... wouldn't be a game changer and would be a cool ability to have as a ranger/beastmaster or an assassin/shadow
...
can't think of any others off the top of my head ... but if there are others I'm sure that retaining their abilities would be a plus, in a game play sort of way ...
