RevolutionDCM: Core Issues

before the beta test came out I was using the previous 3.17 version, along with the 50 CIVs MOD.

you guys will probably shun me but I was getting the multiplayer to work with a friend a my game by getting eveything set-up in a single player game. Then by saving the game as a senario I could then load it up in multiplayer, and we were able to play for roughly 8-10 hrs without a single problem! It works great for games with friends, but I don't know if you would want to do it with just anyone. Like I said though, some might consider it cheating I guess, I just saw it as a work around.

Phungus-

I wanted to let you know that as I was playing my current game (monster of a game I must say, roughly 40 CIVs on a HUGE 2 Continent map) I noticed that the cannons that I was building were comming up as red blips. Looked as if the icon outlined the shape of the cannon model, but like I said, all red. Don't know if it's been brought up yet or not, but wanted to bring it to your attention. I can send you a save game if you would like once I get home from work today.

That's pretty interesting regarding your multiplayer finding. This info will at least help with debugging multiplayer. You weren't playing with Revolutions on were you?

i had everything turned on. and if I remember correctly there were two nations that spawed from barbarian tribes. It was a pretty small map though so nothing huge came about like mulitple nations spawning, or large revolutions occuring in the smaller sized nations.

however, my friend's nation was having lots of problems at one point getting the citizens under control. even had to help him fight off a revolution.

But nothing too wide spread.
 
Ok thanks, that version of Wolf was an old RevDCM build not sure what version. Did you add the units as woc modules?

woc modules??? :confused: I just edited some XML files and re-used some graphics. Hopefully it will not be a problem for me to integrate my changes to BTS 3.19/WolfRev 1.5.0.
