Hello, Sir!
Does anybody watch this Discovery Channel series? I would like to talk about it with you guys.

I've been watching it.

And you just missed the episode about the dawn of the First-Person Shooter. Next one will be about SimCity, Civilization, and other god games.

I think they also come again on Saturday mornings.

Its aired on Wednesday at 8 and 11 PM and 12 AM

I guess you could come to my house and watch them; I have them recorded on my DVR. Or you could make an effort to wake up at 10:30 AM to get ready for the show at 11 AM.

Oh god, I have a competition to prepare for that's taking place tomorrow (my school's geography bee), so I have to watch Level 4 tomorrow instead of today. I guess my head would be ruined by watching that.

Oops didn't finish my last post, I'm on the West Coast and I think the discovery channel I get is 3 horus ahead.

Wait, maybe it's not. I can't remember.

I ended up watching Level Four anyway! And they didn't talk too much about the actual games covered; they talked mostly about the idea behind god games and the concepts of modding and machinima. Here were the games covered.

-SimCity
-Populous
-Black and White
-Civilization
-Halo
-Halo 2
-Darfur is Dying

The also showed the machinima story "Red vs. Blue," created by three guys (one doing the dirty work and the other two acting as the Halo soldiers).

One thing I learned is that I've been pronouncing machinima wrong

You were saying it "maki" instead of "mosh" werent you?I did the same thing becuase I watched far to much anime as a child to......

Finished watching the first three levels on yourube. Pretty interesting, although level 3 sort of made it sound like FPS games are all now modern warfare army recruitment, which they aren't.
