Rising Tide doesn't start!

Hello,

yesterday I bought the Rising Tide DLC on Steam.
After the installation, the game doesn't start. Nothing happen when I start the game from Steam.
So I tried to launch it manually from the local folder and, after few second, the error 41 message appear [server too busy?].
It seems very strange.
I do not have problems with any other game supported by Steam, even Civ 5 works normally. I use Windows 10, GPU driver are updated to the last version and the pc exceed immensely the recommended requisite.
What can I do? Thank you!

There seem to be a lot of win 10 related problems recently, no matter what game. It's a new OS.

I have this problem sometimes on Windows 7

If the screen goes black and stays black, begin hitting the enter key...it may not be loading the textures. Keep doing it many times through all the error boxes and the game will start.

No black screens, simply nothing when i launch the game from Steam.
However, I changed the compatibility of the .exe to "Windows XP mode" and now the game works well.
Is this the only solution?
