Is it just me or are there super aggressive civ's that you could easily put in with the group of rogue nations that of North Korea and Iran ?(Others depending on your opinion) Some Nations like Greece, in my game is just super aggressive and even evil in some aspects. They have prayed on weaker nations like Japan and Sakia and have increasingly made threats to me. (A democratic Germany) I got into my first war with Greece in 1500 resulting in a draw, a second in 1550 with me taking Sparta and their ally City state Warsaw. Now maybe just a few turns after the peace they are already threatening my allies and just being thier tyranical a hole selves. Looks like another war in the near future. Anyone else have problems with Civs like this? That just take a huge dump on the peaceful world?

Yeah that happens to me sometimes to. I had a game recently where I was stuck in the middle between Catherine, Bismark, and Monty. Between the three of them I couldn't get a moments worth of peace. For the first several wars all I could do was defend myself. If I tried to attack by moving most of my units towards the enemy the civ on the other side would attack. Fortunately I ended up with a lot of iron and I was then able to wipe out all three of them (one at a time).

I've got a game going on now where the Ottomans are being rather evil.I'm a peaceful leader but they keep on attacking city states, and I keep on helping the city states.I'm in my second war with them right now.

Some city states declared a permanent war on them because of their aggresion.

In my games it is me, Alexander, Hiawatha Isabella and Monty that tend to warmonger quite a lot. However, for Alexander and Monty things rarely go well and usually they are destroyed by others ganking up on them. As the AIs go, Hiawatha tends to be the most succesful warmongerer.

What suprises me is that Gengish Khan never ends up being a huge warmongerer. According to history, he would definitely be a warmongerer in my opinion. Howeverm he always seems to stick to only 1-2 cities in my games and often gets wiped out by one of the warmongering civs.

huh Genghis Kahn is a true threat to society in my game... Wiped out the Japanese and French.... Building nukes to take him out though .. Preemptive strike to liberate his A@#! :P

I personally love having warmonger neighbors, no matter what the VC I'm going for.

You can count on them to level up your units, give you big peace settlements and all of that without risking warmonger hate from the peaceful civs!

You can put the Aztecs, Siam, Mongolia, Greece and Germany in the Civilization V Axis of Evil for sure. Others sometimes end up as aggressive too due to RNG. But these guys almost always end up causing some sort of trouble, for me at least.

Pretty much any civ in civ V can become a rogue nation. It's all about flavors, personalities and their randomizers.
