You're a good player and it's good that people get to watch your games. I'd never tried espionage like that, never got to realising how effective it is ... probably because, like yourself, I don't like micro.
Incidentally, I'd like to see you play an immortal game on pangaea with Shaka, Montezuma, Napoleon, Alexander, Catherine etc. That'd be so much fun. Maybe play as Gandhi again?

The trick on maps like that is to bribe those warmonger AI against each other, and take an opportunistic backstab while the world suffers an awful tech pace.

Like to see you try it. Maybe start with two mysticism fundamentalists, Isabella and Justinian or Saladin, to ensure strife, plus Shaka, Montezuma and maybe 3 of Alexander, Catherine, Napoleon and Ragnar. Maybe throw in a bitc ... tech/wonder cow or two, the Incas and the Mali, if playing on a larger map.

Oh, forgot Genghis is the last list ....
how do I cause 2 AI to declare war on each other using espionage? do i have to cause them to have different civics & religions from each other first? Will causing opposing AI cities that border each other to revolt help? What else can i try?
