Wow, I just bought Rome TW and is totally addicted! Not only by the fancy 3D battles, but also of how they managed the stategic parts (turn based) of this game.

My question is: Are there game featueres from Rome TW that could be well implemented in CIV4, or been made even better in CIV4? I'm not thinking of the 3D real time battlesystem, that would be impossible with the wide time span of CIV, but the other parts of the game....

I haven't played it, but one game I hope the Civ4 developers have played is Galactic Civilizations. That has lots of cool features that would work great in a Civ game.

Haven't played it, but I'm a strong believer that plagiarizing an idea or two couldn't hurt. I do, however, think that moving one game towards another in an effort to copy it or emulate its success is a bad idea.

Yeah! You're completly right! They are both great games because they are so special in their own ways, and revolutionary in their consepts. I love them both, but CIV most of all, I guess!

About the battles, I thnk most of us already said no ;)
But, hmm...

I agree RTW is totally awesome! :D (#2 on my top 10 games) but CivIII is #1.
But, we don't want to rip other games off...
