I have yet to get a multiplayer version of Civ 2 (I'll be ordering it tomorrow after I pick up my paycheck ;-)) but I have had Civ 2 classic since '96 and in that time have permanently altered the rules.txt and cities.txt to allow my own tribes w/out having to customize everytime, anyway I was wondering if the rules & cities.txt is the same between the two or if I have to re-cut and paste?

The cities.txt should be the same. The rules.txt has extra unit and advance slots.

Are these the same extra units and tech spaces added by Fantastic Worlds because that is the version I have? ::shakes head:: I should be more clear.

Yes, I was talking about Fantastic Worlds. When you said CIV II classic, I assumed the very first edition without the scenarios.
