Runescape

ok, random question: how much gold do u need to be considered normal? and how much gold do u need to be considered rich? in runescape

It depends on what level you are of course and hwo long you have been playing. No one would expect someoen who is level 20 to have 200k of course. You will get more money as time goes on.

You will get more money depending on which skill you choose to bring up first also. Like mining and smithinbg is great but only in the long run so when you first start it will not make you any money at all. Other ways of making money like pking or merchanting depend on how ghood you are and how much patience you have.

How much money you have depends on how many times you have died too, or been scammed. I have about 460k+ right now and I know that if I had never died or had been carrying less with me when I died I would now have over 1 mill.

I dont really know, you should probably have over 200k to be normal, and if your rich you would have probably over 1 million gp and maybe a rare item like a santa hat.
On that issue, if you want to make money, join my clan. We have turned poor people into quite rich people. I myself only had about 300k before I made the clan, now im pushing well into the millions.

Subbss: True about levels, but yet a person who can't really afford a second set of full rune if they lose thier first while pking than they can be considered poor for anyone that has been playing this game for a while.

I'll see about it Mal, anyway here are my skills, not much to look at but somewhat evenly balanced.

Normal, I'd say around a Million.

Rich, 10's of Millions.

I'm an average level, 59 I think. I would have to check.

Level 38, good miner and cook (not-member)
always have for sale:
gold items, tiaras, stews and apple pies.....

as for money I made around 200k in 3 weeks of playing.

What is your favourite money-making method?

Ok, info on my clan:

The clan is split into 3 armed branches, Warrior, Ranged, and Magic

Warrior Branch Leader (General of Infantry): Crustache
Ranging Branch Leader (General of Ranging): Mal'Ganis_RH (me)
Mage Branch Leader (General of Mages): Altaran

We have equal authority in this clan, though I am online the most and I organize everything within the group. In other words, If you want to talk to someone about joining, talk to me.

When/if you join, you will be asked which branch you choose to join. This is which type of combat you prefer to use. It does not neccesarily have to be something youre a god at, but you do have to like that style. You need to get the approval of the leader of the branch to enter that group as an officer. You will also need to talk to me (Mal'Ganis_RH) in order for me to put you on the roster. To get kicked out of a branch, it merely needs the consent of the branch leader, where then you will have to enter one of the other 2 branches, of course with the approval of its leader. To be removed from the clan however, it must be agreed upon by all 3 branch leaders.

We will being doing clan stuff in January, for now were preparing our group. You can join this group, but id prefer if you were over lvl 40, but below lvl 65. I will accept people as high as 70, but this is rare. The reason is that I want to be able to train up our members into our style of war. I personally do not want people who are extremely good who will fight with you as a partner rather than a comrade. There has already been a coup attempt in this clan, so I am paranoid about high lvl's in the group (75+)

Also, to ensure that our trainees have the ability to train, we do have some... caps on training of some abilities. you should not train beyond these points and if youre beyond them, stay where you are. These are temporary so certain generals (me and Altaran) are able to beocme master of their field. They are:

- 40 Magic (Do not train above this unless you have either 50 theivng or 50 agility, which proves to me you are preparing to do the legends quest. This does not apply to people in the Mage Branch. This cap will be silenced when Altaran removes it, most likely at lvl 55)
- 45 Ranging (Do not train unless you are a member of the ranging branch. This cap will be removed when Mal'Ganis_RH (me) reaches 70 ranging.)
- There is no specific cap, but smithing over 50 is frowned upon by Altaran.

Thank you very much, and I hope you join up.
Is this still on? What do you guys do as clan? PK trips? mining trips, other events?

Mine is mining about 300 coal and selling it for about 30k. But more recently I have gained the ability to cut yews, though I forget how much they usually go for, they are exponentially more valuable than coal. I used to sell "lobbies" too  . Oh, also I just sold some full rune, so I'm sitting on a nice little pile of cash :goodjob: .

My name on RS is Justinbgood. (I was in 7th grade when I made the name).

Nay, its been finished ever since I got World of Warcraft, or July 4 2005.

I can understand that :)
The reason I dont want to get WoW is that it is VERY addictive....don't want many bad thigns happening to me just because I can't stop playing....
