San Andreas - Quick questions

At my safehouse in El Corona I have killed a bunch of Azteca guys. I wanted to make an end of all the ambushes outside my door. But this area is no "turf" and cannot be taken over? Gang war here impossible? But the Azteca's control this place, they litterally control the stairs to my front door. I want to be in charge here!

Don't do any gang wars. You're wasting your time
I'm having fun wasting my time! :p

If there is something "time wasting", it must be the girlfriend aspect. I've only met the first one; Denise. Keeping her happy is too much work I think...

And CJ is meant to have 6 girldriends throughout the game. Six! :ack: I don't see how it's possible to keep them happy and also doing other things. Maybe some relationships are short-lasting, maybe a girl or two dies, what do I know. No spoilers please.

The concept of making a gang isn't working properly, instead of making it easier it makes it harder.

The harderst things to do in the game? So far - IMO - it is to manage the stupid AI gang members.

Sometimes when I look for members, I can't find anyone anywhere. Usually they are not hard to find, but often they are unarmed. With some luck I may come across one or two with MP5's.

And when I have spent some time finding well-armed members, then the REALLY hard task begins: To manage them. I hope it works better on other platforms, but on the PS2 they can't find the easy and logic way around easy obstacles. :crazyeye:
But what annoys really me is when they just run away and disappear! Why??? No enemy is chasing them. And I didn't hurt them. Grrrr.

Actually, girlfriends are optional.
ok, but if you're fanatic you have to do everything optional. :p

The enemy have attacked a particular turf (southern Ganton) many many times. I tried to let them take it, just to see what would happen/how long it would take.

Southern Ganton slowly lost the green color and became grey, then bright purple, and at last purple. I think the Ballas (and sometimes the Vagos) have attacked 6-7 times.

And the turf is still not lost, because now someone attack it again.

If I attack someone, I have to defeat 3 waves of defenders and that turf is 100% Grove.

When the AI attack (and are not defeated), when will it completely win that turf? I'm losing count of how many times they have won, the area color is purple (sometimes a shade of yellow), and still it counts as Grove land.

:shake: Some of the stupid Ballas run away. When I have killed them who were even more stupid and did not flee, I lose the battle because I have to hunt down the cowards outside of the war zone. The game blame ME for fleeing and being coward. I would like to beat up them responsible for the AI code. :aargh:

How can I prevent this from happening? The only I can think of (besides reloading and hoping for luck) is to hunt down the enemy before they get outside the war zone, but it's difficult. Often the enemy spawn outside the war zone (if the zone is not big). And not killing the closest enemy first means I'll likely get killed myself.

It have happened one too many times now.

Sometimes they do, and other times they get stuck because they don't understand how to jump over fences or make their way around obstacles. Often a problem in areas with lots of small houses with fences in between them.

What's the most insane stunt you've done?

I just got this:

TRIPLE INSANE STUNT BONUS: $ 3599

Distance: 2835.57 m.
Height: 0.0 m.
Flips: 2.
Rotation: 629°.

Edit,

The distance equals 9300 UK feet.

:D
I didn't get to see the stunt with my own eyes. I parked a Slamvan in a modification garage. A bug let me drive the car and I backed out. I did not get to see what the car did, and when I clicked to exit the shop the car suddenly appeared in the shop and backed out as normal. I think it was at this point I got the insane bonus message.

The same bug have happened 2-3 times, but I got a stunt bonus only once.

Hmm, that never happened to me, every time I get attacked by a enemy gang, I just take 2 of their terrority, but maybe ur gettin confused with the VERY SMALL Terrorities (I think there is 3 in all, very annoying to take since there is barely any gang members that spawn there)

The Aztecas are a very annoying bunch, they get in fights with your gang and sometimes u, but I just try to ignore it

It's said to be a helipad with a helicopter on a roof in LS. I think it was on top of the LSPD. This must be incorrect, if my telescope is good enough. I can't see it. I look from the top of the highest skyscraper (the one with an empty helipad).

I've also been scouting from the Dodo airplane, but when I fly low enough to see someting I always crash in a wall or a tree. :p

Can I find and use a helicopter in LS?

Btw, it seems the Ballas are immune to tear gas.

There definetly is a police chopper on top of the Police Department.
It is? OK, thank you. Then the helicopter must be on the dome? When I look through the sniper rifle telescope, I can't even see a helpad there. Maybe the distance is too far.

What Police Department? It is not on top of LSPD, I have landed on a nearby building and looked in the telescope, and there can't possibly be a chopper parked there. Because the top of LSPD is a tower and a dome. And the other roofs on LSPD (lower) is empty, I have landed there too.

Maybe you mean another building? When I say LSPD, I mean where they take you if you get busted. LSPD in Pershing Square.
