Save game with mods on second PC

I recently tried moving a save game from my PC to my laptop and am using some mods, some of which say they don't affect saved games.

To transfer my save i copied the save file and all the mods i had been using to my laptop but the mods which said they don't affect saved games did not show up on the laptop, so i am guessing there are some other file(s) i need to transfer to tell the game i had been using those mods.

Does anyone know what those files would be?

First check to ensure MODS folder is identical.

Also there appears to be a MODUserData directory; mine contains some db files but I'm not sure what that is used for.
