- Built a chathedral in PDX
- Established a city (needs a name)

- Queue's initaiated. Governors. Some temples were put in place of Cathedrals because some towns that had Cathedral in their build queue did not yet have a temple.
- Justus' Buildings were rushed. Cost = 84 + 76 + 48 + 64 = 272 gold. Culture had 145 saved and there is 181 gold for domestic and culture to share. 44 left out of that 181 for domestic and culture.

- Town Needs a Name renamed to Justinian. A library is rushed there for 120 Gold. Note, the budget left for the Cultural Dept at this point was 108 Gold. 12 gold was taken from the Domestic Department/Cultural Department shared funds.

740AD (6)
- Washington finishes Settler. Settler directed to Philly. Settler needs a spot to settle! Note to next player: Settler still has full moves remaining.
- Hangchow flips from China to the Iroquois! Looks like we are not the only civ going for cultural assimilation!

770AD (9)
- Byzantium fell from Rome to the Babylonians! The Romans also lost a settler in this loss!

The rest of the game played easily with just workers connecting resources & improving tiles. I spread out some of the scattered units in the province of Asphinxia to some nearby towns. No trade deals finished during this turn.

Player details: Grey Fox was about to start, but suddenly disappeared! Chieftess was next but only got 3/4 of the preturn done before she had to hand the game off to me. I was able to finish the turn!

Phoenetica, 940 AD

- First half of turns were pretty uneventful (minus a spammer). Established trades and renegotiated ROPs for added gold.

Turn 5 - WAR!!! The Aztecs declared war on us again. We decide to teach them a lesson by taking Tlaxcala.

Turn 6 - We see a huge stack moving north, towards Justinian. After much debate, it is decided that emergency funds should be put into place. Musketmen rushed in Justinian.

Turn 7 - Stack moves closer as reinforcements start arriving. A wall is rushed in Justinian.

Turn 8 - Wall is built. Aztec stack is distracted and starts heading for Macao. Reinforcement (knights) block the exit. Also, Tlaxcala was under siege and taken!

Turn 9 - The stack moves for Justinian, and we attack. 5 Aztec troops were defeated.

Turn 10 - The stack attacks, and Justinian holds. A just-turned-elite Pikemen procudes a great leader, Achaemenes, while defeating 6 archers and longbowmen. The stack disperses as we defeat 3 more units. We did lose 4 units in the entire campaign. 17 Aztecs loses to our 4.
