Saved maps have no ruins - bug?

I saved a map and loaded it through the Advanced Setup. Searched for a while, should have found at least one ruin - nope. Tried loading the map as a mod, same thing! This is the second saved map bug I've found, the first one being that a saved Huge Lakes map comes up as locked Standard size.

That's odd. I have not had this issue. In fact, my recently saved game at 500+ turns just allowed me to find new ruins and old ruins that I discovered and never got to are still there.

Did you run a file verifier?
