Sci leader bug

Last night, playing as the Byzantines, three random rivals, Chieftan level, tiny map, 80% water, archipelago, C3C v 1.00, I got a Sci leader. I used him to rush construction of the Colossus. However, this did not get rid of the Sci leader, so on the next turn I used him to rush the Lighthouse, after which he did disappear. Unfortunately I neglected to save the game (comp crash) so I cannot provide proof of my claims.

Although you did not save the game, is there an Auto Save available?

Also, please write down the steps you took to reproduce the bug. Was the SGL in your capital? Another city? Are you sure you didn't have 2 SGLs? It is possible to have more than 1 SGL, so, maybe you didn't notice the other one. This is why a save is very important. Read the stickied threads...
