IA - steam/Industrialization, almost every game. I can't think of a time where I've done otherwise.

After that, rep parts beeline, then either flight or motorized transport, depending on what I'm doing. .

Now this is something I have never thought of doing. I usually head straight for RP from Steam but it might make sense to get Ind first. Thanks for the food for thought.

Nothing wrong with heading towards RP with its faster workers and artillery.

well, industrialization is just a tech beyond steam and factories/coal plants are just outstanding - I mean, with rails, you can near triple your production.

Basically, you can pump out more cavs/cannons/rifles/ships, or even wealth, to run more science.

RP is pretty good too, though...
