Scratched Civ 3 CD!

I recently bought the Civilization 3 game at a yard sale, but cannot play it due to a scratch... Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the game, or get one of the codes to unlock a trial version? I've got legal rights to it. Thanks!

Depending on the size of the scratch you should be able to patch it up yourself. Most music stores sell instruments which can coat over any scratches (but of course investing in such a thing was not part of the deal when you bought the game). if you have a large cd collection it might be worth buying such a device anyway...

Otherwise try and return it.

Nobody here will tell you where to download a copy and I don't know if there even is a trial version to unlock (I doubt it). But even if, nobody here will tell you where to get one. I am sorry if you bought a damaged CD, but the only legal thing you can do is contact the seller or return it to firaxis (have a look at their website on how).
