screen goes blank

i've played a couple of games where the screen would go blank for a split second. this doesnt happen in other games(battle realms, max payne2) so its probably not my system.

I don't know what the bug is exactly... could you be more specific? Write the steps to reproduce this. Are you playing a scenario? Is it when loading a scenario? Going to the city screen? Diplomacy? What do you do right before the bug happens? Do you have any saves? Please use the bug report guidelines, too.

This one needs more information.

BTW, what are your system specs? Also, if you switch to another program, then switch back, the screen will be blank until the video is updated again.

Im playing an epic game on regent. The screen turns blank on the game screen itself but just for a split second. I think it happens while im waiting for my turn. It doesnt happen all the time. I've restarted the same game with no problems. I dont run any other programs while i'm playing including anti-viruses

256mb ram
30 gb ibm hd 7200 rpm
geforce 2 mx

Sounds like it's waiting to refresh the screen. Do you have a save? The problem could just be your hardware. Also, are you sure that the screen isn't jumping into the Fog of War with the minimap and other icons hidden? (delete key).

Post the save just incase the problem is in the save. (unlikely, since I think it's hardware related)
