Screen Sized World Map

I'd like to be able to blow the world map up to full size. It's so tiny, and if you zoom out on the main map screen, you can only see so much. I'd like to be able to look at a screen-sized map of the known world - just a larger version of what you see on the little world map down below.

Thats a preety good idea .It would help since sometime when you want to look a how the borders and the landmasses play out, it comes out messed up since the color of borders go over into the water. And sometimes the border of two nations touching is not up to how its supposed to be.


I want my borders on the map to be perfect!!!

It would be nice to have a world view. And if we get a true globe as has been hinted, then I would be loving it! It would help a lot, because then things would be more in perspective, and help in the longterm planning of strategy.

Plus it would look cool.

It would be good to have progressive zoom like in civ2 (another thing to bring back form civ2). This way, you can have the whole world map or your entire continent full screan

Hmm, if they do implement a globe map, it would be nice to see the satellites you launch circling around it too. If there is a nuclear war seeing the ICBMs go out into near space and then fall on their targets via globe view would be fairly amusing as well.

None of the screen shots released even hint at a globe. They all seem like a standard overhead perspective with no curvature. Some looked like they zoomed out pretty far, though.
