Screenshots

Would someone tell me how to take a screenshot in MTW2 and Civ4?
As well as tell me how to access the image after I have taken it?

Paste it from where?

from the clipboard. Just like if I highlight text and hit crtl+c and paste that into notepad.

prtscreen writes the current screen to the clipboard

That still didn't help.
I pressed 'Print Screen'.
Then I got out of the game and went to 'Paint'.
I right clicked and not paste option came up.
I tried to search for the clipboard but did not find it.

Please note I am talking about Medieval Total War 2.

Some games don't work with printscreen, and others make a screenshot into some folder themselves when the button is pressed.

FRAPS is good, but I've started replacing it with X-Fire as FRAPS conflicts with X-Fire ingame.

Is there a way to take a screenshot in MTW2 without having to download anything?

Yes. Hit Print Screen. That will either make the game save a screenshot, or copy it to your clipboard. Then, if it did NOT save the screenshot already, you open MS Paint, and hit ctrl-v.

There is nothing else that needs to be done. No need to download anything at all.
