Scroll wheel zoom no longer works?

After installing BTS and the 3.02 patch (installed at the same time, unfortunately, so I don't know if the patch caused this), I was surprised to find that the scroll wheel on my touchpad no longer zooms the map in and out. PageUp and PageDown still zoom the map.

As a check, I started Warlords, and the scroll wheel zoom still works. For both, I am playing in full screen mode -- not windowed.

Is this a bug, or was this something intentionally changed for some reason?

Works fine for me, although I don't have a touchpad. Have you got scroll lock on perhaps? Have you set any non-standard game options (in game options?)
