I count 5 or 6 people playing multiplayer games( that I know of). More human interaction in the game gvies us good insight.

I know that kunningus plays GOTM. SO thats a good constant knowledge of different aspects of the game.

We have at least 2 excellent spammers...BC and I.
One lousy typist.....ME

BC..I was asked by Whomp what it was like to be your teammate in our 2 multiplayer games( against Tubby and Whomp and the one with Romeo and Sz). HE wanted to know if you lacked focus....that you seemed A.D.D. I said well sometimes. Now dont get mad at me or him....I figured if thats is what he thought why correct him. ;) That was one of the nigths you were drunk and we were chatting on MSN with him.( that should narrow it down to about 100 nights). When chatting to Whomp..stress that you likr playing the turns drunk instead of telling him you never Civ drunk.

I think we have a well balanced team. We have GOTM players as well as pitboss. Diplomacy with 16 humans can be nuts:crazyeye:. One of our big advantages that i can see is that we have lots of players from the civ3 mtdg from all the teams (well except KISS, but we have dealt with most of their main players in other games) The fact that there is good representation from the 3 other teams offers insights from a similar styled game from different points of view. I think our biggest advantage is that we have a lot of players that are willing to try new and different things (1/3 of pitboss is alohan) and our intra team ladder and learn new things from this. Plus we have an out-of-the-box thinker in me;) :p

yeah..cant wait to test this new defense system you have...in PBEM.

robi has killercane got civ4? if so damn well encourage him to join team Aloha! :D

We now do have someone who has the extensive knowledge of both TNT and KISS so i think thats a benefeit to all of us our civ3 experience.

I think it also helps that we've got rob who knows what its like to play a losing game (the demogame).

Also some teams pay GREAT attention to who plays the turns (posts in the turn tracker thread) so it could be worth every now and then other people posting that i've played the save-make it look like the team is lacking people-perhaps even delaying the turn sometimes (not for long as this would annoy to many people).

MP players-me, rob,robi,george,dl(civ3 mtdg), meleager, ybbor, kuningas, greekguy plays some civ3 mtdg if i remember rightly.

I dont think whomp would believe that even i would play the turns drunk but it doesnt hurt to spread more misinformation- for instance perhaps in our MP games we could mention how we didnt know forests held defensive value so was curious why our warriors lost there. Also comment that you have nothing to do because of leaving your workers on automate.

Im a Monarch player- can get an extensive lead about 50% of the time so when i can get that up i'll make the step up to Emporer-what about everyone else?

I'm more of a production player and very often dont bother specialising my cities.

BC dont go over board with playing stupid..ie forests and defensive. Workers on auto can be mentioned. :)

I am playing 2 up from noble( monarch?). I dont finish games...I am trying different early game combos and "themes".

NOW I am Basically looking for combos of builds that yield certain things. Ex...fastest way to a city with 100 beakers, without having running Buecracy. I am Basically screwing with the game and testing each individaul tactic in exclusion of others. I am near the end of that phase then I will start a"total game" combining all thr tectics to yeild a complete game.

Alot of my MP games have been microcosms of certain tactics...Robi and BC games especially due to the civ I have and a starting locations. I want to win those games but I am using them and others as teaching tools. I consider them"wins" if I learn something which I already have.

/If any of you have read "Shadow Puppets" by OSC..I am basically using Beans approach to training his squad.

OK any more comments on this....some time has passed. Do we know any more of what others think or know of us.

Playing all these games (PBEM's and pitboss) against you lot i have picked a few things up. I have moved up from noble to prince against the AI and could probably go up another level and beat the AI, which i will try after finishing my current prince game
