You know what I really hate in the AI's? They always urge you to cease your nuclear attacks, and at the same turn they send one to the city you've conqured the previous turn and handn't have enough time to build SDI.
What's the big idea? Stupid computer...
And that stupid global warming is always because of them by the way!

LOL, you'd really get mad if I told you all the other ways the Ai "cheats" with nukes, ..... but even with all the cheats it has, I'd still either give it more intelligence (preferred) or more cheats, since it cannot come close to the human's intelligence.

I must admit I've never seen Global warming except in a test, but I have caused over 320 white skulls of pollution in one turn due to nuking an entire Celt civ in one turn. I had quite a few Solar Plants, but the pollution was totally under control by the end of the 2nd turn (e.g., only about 40 left, and all were nullified by SPs). Hundreds of engineers, many precharged, went in to clean up & make RRs. The Celts were in Democracy, but had no Laser, LOL.

I don't normally nuke anymore, but do get nuked at times, and just suck it it. In 10 turns or less, my cities usually are fully recovered. one way to protect cities you are about to conquer is to make a quick city within 3 squares of the target(s), Rush Buy an SDI, then take the target cities on the next turn. The SDI in the size 1 city will protect ALL cities (yours and AI's, btw). You can later sell the DSI and convert the size 1 city to an engineer. The entire cost of this operation is less than one properly delivered freight. :)

when you capture their city normally they try to talk to you when they do sign a cease fire and they don't nuke you, rush buy the SDI defense and declare war again the next turn, who cares about reputation that is what the UN and Effil Tower are for.
