Hi All,
So I have just joined here. Bit of background, is i had played an older Civ, and it always had good memories. Just playing for fun.
I then downloaded Civ 6 onto PS4, PS5, PC, and switch.
As the first 3 belong to my son, and I am not much of a 'gamer', I tend to play on the Switch mostly, as this is the one console myself and the wife play a lot on.
So, I have never really delved deep into game play or tactics, and kind of just enjoyed winging it, playing through and seeing how it goes.
But I have Civ-7, and had it pre-ordered. I've played about an hour or 2, and it does seem fun, as well as visually impressive!
But I want to be better, and understand exactly what it is i am doing.
Does anyone have some good links to YouTube pages or videos, or a creator in mind, who can start at the beginning and explain not just what you do, but a little on why and what that choice does.
I really want to try get better overall, and the game itself does ease my ADHD brain, where it feels a lot calmer!
So and YouTube videos would be good, or if anyone has some basic tips around different parts of the game.
I am also curious, is Civ 7 a game you can play against / with real people online? Or is it all against computer / AI?
Videos do work better than articles, as that's easier for me to focus. I am not an idiot, or stupid. I do have various companies i run. So it's not about reading, but more being able to take in the information properly which I am better with in video form than reading.
