@Bill: No offense taken
As I stated before, the RPG just interests me more. I can't help that, I just find it funner. Instead of just registering for the DemoGame I've tried to come down and vote, go to some turn chats and even chat rep for forty this last term. The DG deserves a lot, but passing interest certainly can't hurt

Now i do disagree here though:
All very eloquent in response, but the reality is that participation in the demo game only because of interest in the RPG is NOT helpful to the demo game itself and has been obviously hurtful, as people are taking offices to get RPG salary but not paying primary attention to their office, as opposed to their new pub, land tile, whatever.
I don't think many people are just taking jobs for cash

It's REALLY not that much money anyways, it's merely an incentive to pay for some of the work done in the DG. And seeing as it is an RPG, I think what's done makes sense, as a real life governer would make more then someone not contributing the cash bonuses work out fine.
What I've personally seen from hours of chatting with those who run for positions is that they are the type of people who really get into the DG, it wouldn't matter if you penalized them gold in the RPG they'd still do it!
I don't really think that's what hurting the DG here.
@Grandmaster: Your post is ludicrous. All the time the RPG gets "Why don't you follow the demogame?" then you just flat out state "DG positions aren't RPG positions." If it was your way there would merely be more seperation! Now why can't we just buy all the land, DG land isn't RPG land.......
Anyways, I'm too tired to argue. My opinion is to try to improve the DG, seperating the RPG just isn't going to do it.
