Severe bug, 2 rounds in one.

I don't know how to reproduce it. But after a load, I sometimes can play the same round again (all units have max movement + attack).

I am not mistaken or anything. I've had 2 cases of that today, in 2 different games. In both cases I loaded because I got owned, only to suddenly realize I can easily kill the city now.

I have autosave set to every 2 rounds, 5 saves max. My guess: Autosave on every 2 rounds is bugged.
Again, I'm 100% positive that this is a bug.

edit: added savefile + modlist

edit2: Took a closer look now. It is round 149 after load. So all units should have full movement as the round just started, so that's okay. However, in the original playthrough I had to flee with my swordsmen, which wasn't possible due to bad positioning. Why didn't I kill the city? Because it had more hp. I'll try to repro that on the next city.

It happened again. I'm going nuts here.

Steps are fresh in my mind, so I'll state them:

1) bring city down to 1/5th hp (round 216)
2) have the enemy kill one of your units (round 217)
3) bring down the city (round 217)
4) load last autosave (you start in round 217)

result: Your unit still lives and city has 0 hp.

Don't tell me I'm the first one to find this one...

Does it still happen if you have all mods disabled? If so, could you provide a save without any required mods? Thanks!

I don't want to sound arrogant but I won't play without the mods I really like "only" to find a bug that annoys me. I've tried for an hour to find reliable reproduction steps but to no avail. It didn't even happen once. There's something I'm missing...

Mate, some mods are made just for the intention of making the game more fun, but sometimes they trigger something within the original game and it might crash.

The devs didn't have anything to do with you uploading mods to your computer, they delivered a game "without" mods. So everything you want to add is on your behalf and maybe reading some smallprints from the mod-makers could've saved you this dilemma!

It happened again. This time the other way around. Attilla killed me in round 100, I loaded via autosave to round 97, repeated the exact same step I did previously (the mistake I did which led to my defeat was at round 99) and my city got EASILY taken. Why? Because my city didn't have the same amount of hp as it had on the first playthrough. It's in the red (~20% hp) when it was at half hp all the time until attila stationed more units around my town in round 99.

I'm happy and sad that I'm the only one experiencing this bug. Not sure how to solve this.

This time I played without mods (vanilla G&K to get some achievements), so as expected mods don't cause this bug.

I could imagine defensive buildings being bugged (not granting their extra city hp after reloading).

I (and most people probably) wouldn't notice though, as I usually play in one go without loading (and/or people play on too easy difficulty so they actually never get seriously attacked (=no chance of noticing it).

I don't think it has anything to do with mods. I had the same issue show up in multiplayer - mostly after a game crash / something similar, when we loaded an autosave, it was like the AI didn't move for a whole turn.

For example, I had a settler, which I moved next to a barbarian (didn't see it through the fog of war). It died on turn X00 (100 or 200, don't remember, autosave turn). Next turn, the game crashes, we reload it to turn X00 and the settler is still where it was, not killed by the barb as it should have been. So this is a more frequent issue.
