Not at home atm, I'll try and have a look at the map and replay tonight (but yeah, when I recorded the result, an Immortal rush is what I attributed it to).

Sorta, but not entirely: he got stuck in Pool 8 which usually had a majority of high peaceweights, but it was a weak majority (4 to 3 most of the time). And in the last round for instance, it was 4 to 3 in favour of the low peaceweights... and that didn't help.It is fun to look at your results, you forgot to mention Stalin, probably stuck with high peaceweights forever?
Not ready yet, but definitely planned.Do you have a graph or something that shows elo rating of leaders by the end of each series, how they shift around, go up and down over series?
Of course, the issue is there are two possible explanations:Like you said, things are stabilizing with more series.

I definitely remember watching a game where a part got sabotaged, but IIRC Sulla had not been paying attention to this detail and dismissed it as an unexplained oddity. In AI Survivor, I can't remember off the top of my head of a single one.
It might be simply that those do happen, but we're not shown them, because that's an aspect Sullla doesn't seem to be paying any attention to?
That is the first time I have heard about an AI launching with incomplete Casing.Pericles launched with 4 out of 5 casings, and paid the price.
No it's not. That is the first time I have heard about an AI launching with incomplete Casing.
In the S8 championship I noticed Gandhi getting his spaceship parts blown up a lot especially after going nuclear and I think that really really helped Lizzy. Without that I think he might have wonI've already mentioned it and provided examples, but here is another one:

Instances of spaceship sabotage are a frequent occurence.
In AI Survivor, I can't remember off the top of my head of a single one.
It might be simply that those do happen, but we're not shown them, because that's an aspect Sullla doesn't seem to be paying any attention to?
Or it could owe to the difference in the way we run the games: Sullla uses observer Great Spies, which results in the AIs wasting a ton of espionnage points on the observer civ.
In my games, not only do I not use Great Spies, but the observer civ is actually dead (with aiplay): so those espionnage points are still available at the end of the game...
As for that particular game...
Pericles was the dominant AI, but Saladin was the tech leader.

... and so Washington won the game!
The sabotage attempts against Saladin effectively shut down his spaceship attempt (and note, once again, that the sabotaging keeps going even though the race is over!).
Pericles launched with 4 out of 5 casings, and paid the price.
I'm really suspicious about that piece of code, by the way: unless I'm mistaken, one missing casing is supposed to result in a 20% failure rate.
I'm almost positive that value is reversed: the failure rate in that case seems much closer to 80%.
