I really liked everything i read about sevo mod and installed it earlier but there is no marathon game speed just some sort of marathon FX speed which is way to fast for me and is destroying my enjoyment. How hard would it be for someone completely unexperienced in python and xml to mod in the marathon game speed from the latest official patch? Can any one give me a step by step, ive never modded before.

it is extremely simple
if you dont want any of the new speeds, cut copy the orginal Gamespeedinfos.xml file from the game info folder in the root civ4 directory and paste it into your sevo mod folder under the game info folder. Do the same with the civculturelevelinfo.xml and you should have it all sorted. start up sevo mod and see if it works ;-)
