Yes! Any team more than a month after the first to finish.
(I'd heard it was going to be a public flogging, but then too many of them were up for that )

Hah! You may jest, but we are not fooled. BTW, did you see there is a major gauntlet running, Emperor level, Religious Victory - on the hemisphere map, which will be interesting Now that we are playing at deity level (cough cough), should be a cakewalk.

I'm pretty Civ'd out at the moment as well. I'm already EQM and have no interest in trying to get to the higher levels of that as it was hard enough work just getting to Settler level.

I might become a specialist SGOTM player from a while now.

Have tried one test game - finished, but rubbish (1000 !!AD!!! argghh ) so probably won't submit yet unless I find I can't improve it That happens to me on Gauntlets.

Deity Slayer, stop omming and start rumbling. This is straightforward ... lots more time to get the Oracle, since it's Emperor.

I have to say, I've never been a fan of religious victory condition. As a result, I pretty much suck at it. Maybe I'll join in a bit, at the moment I've started fooling around with the other major Gauntlet (Joao conquest). Those games take some time (huge map).

Stuck on that one myself. It's brutal, way too many units to look after and I got a map with 3 continents but I hate to start over. Maybe that quick game is a better choice

@ The-Hawk. I know you've always said you don't like religious games. But honestly, they are ok and I don't know why I'm trying to persuade you since we're in contention on the EQM stuff quite a bit but still ...

Religious is a bit easy. Honest. Let's go for it. What do you all say. Bit of a practice? We can share tips here and try for Geezers 1 2 and 3, which will be tough given that Sun Tzu Thing and other good players will go for it ...

Map set up. Well, the thing is that I have recently been playing hemisphere maps because I need that for Immortal EQM. Did Liz on Diplo - I can report that, on low sea level it's possible to get a map with contact with the other continents. Which is handy

Actually, strike that. My Liz map was **Normal** sea level. The winner of this gauntlet will be able to deliver missionaries with gallies, for sure. Won't be me, because I hate to abandon a game once I've started, so unless I get lucky ...

But as a team, the chances are much improved. What say you, fellow Geezers?

Your time seems pretty good to me Hawk. I can't seem to get it done before 1900. Any tips would help. Either I seem to wat too much and fall behind in tech or I start the war too late and have to kill tons of AI.
