Shameless advertisment for a quiz

The last question is false. Both Portugal (Carrack) and England (Man-o-War) have naval UU.

Even the game isn't clear on that it is spelt in different way in Civ3 and in PTW, but I have been brought up to spell it this way..so. On a nitpicky note, the stress is on the second syllable as in gan-DHI, not GHAN-dhi, when you pronounce it...

I selected all of these for the barbarians.
Wouldn't enraged count as raging?
I got 2 wrong 'cause I spelled them wrong.
onlly 22/25

But how did you get 25 questions? I only got ten. :hmm:

@akka

I've based this quiz only on Civ3 and PTW, since I haven't played Conquests yet;). I think I mentioned that somewhere.

I thought it was Stalin who was the most recent, entered it, and was told I was wrong. Well... i'm not :p
Joseph Stalin, 73 years of age, had suffered a cerebral
hemorrhage and died at 9:50 pm on March 5, 1953

Apart from that, it all good :)
Although as you said, a bit easy ;) I got 9/10, although it's really 10/10 :)

Except Joe isn't a civilization leader in the game. Russia has Cathy, ja?

Ten out of ten for me, though.

You do know that Ghandi is spelled two ways...

There are two ways in which it is often spelt, but only one of them is correct, and it's not that one.

Yep. For some reason I assumed Leader meant Great Leader  Then again, a Great Leader is a leader...
Also, the final question should be updated for Conquests

It says that the quiz is about PTW, not C3C.

Yeh quiz bohodh acha hai allhailIndiaji!

However, Mao is the correct answer for the first question my friend, not Gandhiji. Other than that, the quiz seems interesting.

damn, I should have viewed the threat first, then do the test. Now I got a 9/10.

10/10 Nice and easy for those who have played the game and know their history ;).

@Cuivenen: The answer IS Mao. The question asks which lived and died most recently. I would say 1976 was more recent than 1948 or 1953.

9/10, missed mao.

"Catherine the Great, legends say, died of a stroke while in the bathroom, whereas Gandhi and Lincoln were assassinated, while Joan was burnt at the stake as a witch."

Watched a tv-documentary on her sometime ago. There was a notion on a wild, most likely untrue, legend about Catherine, that she was sexually devouring young men, and could get no satisfaction. According to that legend she died in a stable where a horse killed her during a sexual act. And the stroke was the public information given out. This legend was considered most likely bs.

Well I prefer to stick to official versions; the stroke making most sense;)
