Hey yall

My friend and I are pretty new to Civ 3 PTW and we think its great, anyway, we are currently playing a mutiplayer game and it seems we can't share vision? Even thou we are like allies....is there a certain tech we need to research or a option we need to turn on so we can have shared vision? Its a bit hard to plan and execute a D-day style invasion when you can't see what he sees etc (this was reflected on the "success" of our invasion  )

Also, there is a option called "Game Limits" in the pre game hosting screen, is that how long the game lasts? We turned everything to 0 cos we wanted to play for as long as we wanted (or until we died, which is pretty common). Does the game still stop at year 2050?

Cheers

Oh yeah one more thing, is there a diplo agreement we can have so my units can heal in his cities and share the same square on the map as his?

Ta

Unlike Rise of Nations, no tech lets you see where his units are. You can ask him and this is why I use ventrilo or teamspeak (microphone speaking programs) to communicate with who I am playing with (if we're allied ;)) and we can tell eachother where our units are and how we can attack. You can also pause the game to set up these D-Day attacks.

The Game Limits just mean how long the games lasts if you have a certain time (minutes/hours etc) that you want to stop at or a few other options. The game ENDS at 2050 if you havent achieved victory yet.

To your second post

If your units attempt to go into his cities to heal, they will capture the city. You cannot have your units in his cities or in the same grid mark as his.
