Shift-D hotkey for workers?

Hi

I was regularly using shift-D to take me to the diplomacy screens, but then one day I used it when the focus was on a worker. The worker moved about 3 tiles down the road... what have I done? I have checked both the manuals (vanilla and c3c) and can't find any Shift-D worker hotkey combo. What does it do? I get the feeling it puts the worker on automatic. It seems a bit silly to me - I think it should take you to the dimplomacy screen.

You told the worker to do the 'Clear Damage' mission by pressing Shift-D. Diplomacy is always Ctrl-Shift-D, but Shift-D will work when the game isn't focused on a worker.

Is there anyway to reassign hotkeys? This one really gets on my nerves.
