how much do you think it is?

$45. You should probably look and see if your computer meets the reqiurments. They're a lot higher than Civ 3's.

I think I'll wait for it to go down in price you can get Civ III for $6, and they expansion packs are around there too.

I was kind of sick and tired from CIV IV a week or two ago. So I started up Civ III.

Five minutes. No longer could I play :crazyeye:

Honestly, Civ 3 is much more addicting. Civ 4 doesn't give me that "one more turn" feeling.

With the expansion coming out in a month, you may as well hold off for the double pack. No point in rushing to buy it at full price now. Give it a little time and you can get alot more for your money.

I would say give Conquests a shot before you try something not so complete in comparison. Its the top platform for all the great mods and the pinnicle of the series so far. The best mods for Conquests are like expansion packs in themselves. Like Balancer Reloaded 600+ units. over 1000 additions make up a 750 turn mega epic that hits on a complete future era(100% complete pedia backs it up) or Annui Dommi (sp) a massive mod which focuses completly on the the ancient era (everyones fav), plus all new leaderheads along with everything else .

Anyway thats what Im doing till Civ4 gets straightened out. Then When the next exp is released mybe I'll give it a try cause its a better deal

Thats like walking into a gun store and asking if you should buy a gun......

civ3 was more addictive for me as well. but civ more is much more in depth. i put in 3 a couple weeks ago and kept wanting to make changes i couldn't make outside of civ4. i think it's worth it. and my only issue with the game has been it made me upgrade my video card. if this game did it now then in a year most would do it and in 2 all would. so it was a necessary upgrade on the pc.

that's my $0.02 worth.

Civ4 is a much better game than Civ3, in my opinion. But you might as well just download the demo, and play it and Civ3, and buy the double pack with the Expansion with it. Or you could just buy Civ4, if you can't withstand it's awesomeness.

I'd get Civ IV but keep playing Civ III as well... actually, I did do that.

But then, I've also got Civ II on my computer. And Doom III, which is probably feeling lonely and outnumbered.
