In this game I played with the French, and I built a lot of warriors, hoping I will upgrade them to Swordsman. I discovered Iron Working, have a source of Iron, all tiles roaded, I have a Warrior in London and the Upgrade button doesn't appear. I try to press Ctrl+U and it hasn't any effect.

I thought I have barrackas in that city... Maybe I was wrong. If I really haven't barrackas, I'm sorry, but I hope I had, so I wouldn't be sorry any more! Anyway, my copy of civilization III makes me a lot of problems, and maybe you saw this map is an experiment, to see how crowded a map can be, I destroied already Romans, Babylonians, English, Germans, Persians, Russians and Zulu.

Shift+U, not ctrl+U.
How silly. :p

Oh noes it's another crowded game!!!!
:crazyeye:

I thought you just had fun with the city naming

Also, you probably didn't have a barracks, but you were already told that.

In fact, it's not 80% Archi, it's a custom map. I made 4 small islands like the one in the screenie, and these are on a huge world, so I can play with all civilizations of a huge world in a very small map. I inspired from the thread "How crowded a map can be".

If you don't believe I destroied so many civs before 925 Bc, tell me and I'll post other screenshots, showing Paris surrounded by Romans, Persians, Babylonians and English.

No, I believe you. I just didn't know if it was a crowded, or if you had fun
with city naming. Good luck. :goodjob:
