An idea for a new wonder.
(Don't know whether the name is the best.)

Gives +1 food for every farm.
Can be built with Mysticism.

Becomes obselete with Biology or sometime before.

May be it faster to build if you have access to corn or wheat.

It would be pretty overpowered.

Having the benefits of Biology 5000 years earlier would cause for major SE.

Many of the early wonders are very powerful.
The great lighthouse, pyramids, etc.
The great lighthouse gives one Economics and Corporation thousands of years in advance (not quite, but close.)

To know whether something is "overpowered" one would at a minimum need to know the cost of building it. There is clearly some cost at which it will never be built. So just set the cost high enough that it is not overpowered.

Also one could require a Granary in a city before the shrine could be built.
This wold delay its building a little bit.

Prior to Civil Service there are fewer opportunities to build farms.
Maybe the shrine should obsolete around the same time as Civil Service, although Civil Service itself is not a good fit.

You could just make the wonder give +10% food in all cities(from all sources, not just farms)

Or perhaps there could be the option of a monument to different polytheistic gods, but in each city you can only build one type, so instead of the monument just giving 1 culture it could be a monument to the Father of the gods and give 1 :culture: and 1 :), a monument to god of the earth gives 1 :culture: and 1 :health:, god of war gives 1 :culture: and 1 :hammers:. You get the idea, so they are sort of national wonders only in a different "set". This would cater for the Egyptian, Norse, Greek gods.
