Hi all,
I know this was discussed like million times, and I've tried every solution out there but nothing seems to work. so here's my problem: bought vanilla civ 4 on steam, i then realized i have BTS CD somewhere in my house, and so 20 hours later i found it! needless to say how excited i was to finally play my fav game, but that excitement disappeared rather quickly. the game is simply refusing to install, it looks for some mystical DIRECTX update, fails to find it and aborts installation. Thanks in advance for ANY advise
