Silent Service II in a 1991 submarine simulator by Sid Meier. It is available for modern computers on Steam. That is to say it runs on an emulator. I have it and I need help.
It loads. The sound is OK. I can do the identification of the ships, a copyright protection thing. Most of the controls work. What I cannot do is move the periscope/binoculars. I can use the arrow keys to move the pointy end of the boat. I cannot keep the boat pointing in a direction and move the periscope to engage the enemy.
There are no useful YouTube videos or any obvious text discussions of this. Anyone have any thoughts?
