Simple game editor for Mac

I just got a new Mac (a shiny new Powerbook G4, it's super) and CivIII, Game of the Year edition. I'm looking for a game editor similar to one that I found for Windows that would let me change things such as how much gold each civ had, what units, etc. I'm not interested in making my own units or scenarios - mainly just changing how much money I have.

Are there any game editors for Mac that will let me do this kind of thing?

Are the .sav files generated by the Mac version compatible with the Windows version?

Yes, Mac version 1.29b2 saves are compatible with PC version 1.29f files.
