How many of u use this option? I have played game since 96 and never tried it and im not planning to. Should I try?

I never have and never will.
That was one of the main improvements they made to Civ II was the combat system. With simplified combat either you win, or you lose. The winner stays at 100% health, which makes it almost impossible for several weaker units to take out one stronger unit.

I've never used it too. And I think it wouldn't be fair cause very strong units would be impossible to kill.

Or would get totally killed in a freakish chance, as in the battleship attacking phalanx situation..
