Slight sound skip

I tried searching for this topic, but got tons of stuff on wonder sound skipping problems.

This one is really minor, but I'm wondering if there's fix for it.

Playing Conquests, every now and then when I load the program, there's a slight hiccup in the sound. If I reload it, it usually goes away - but then later on when reloading, it comes back. Very intermittant, but annoying.

This a known issue?

Ya all you do is turn off sound then turn it on again. Saves you from having to reload.
