Small rule change idea

Looking at how the AI overuses entertainers I thought maybe if I removed entertainers from the game I could force the AI to use the luxury slider instead. Has anyone tried this before? Does it work?

No, but I imagine that the AI will just resort to deficit spending.

I tried it. I didn't look too carefully at the effect on the AI because switching the tiles being worked was impossible, so I saw it was useless. I had been thinking the AI would use taxmen or scientists, or just let their cities riot.

Plenty of luxuries along with temples and cathedrals for the largest metropolises.
