[GS] Sneak Peak 07/01

I'm not sure about this one. It could be Mali or Phoenicia but, as a few others have said here, its quite possible that this isn't even the main building. I'll keep my vote on Mali.
 
As much as I'd like to see Mali next, I don't believe it is Mali due to the architecture of the building. It looks very European to me, with those arches. It certainly doesn't look Phoenician, and if it were Turkish I would expect to see a dome. It could be 12th Century Western European, which would point directly at Eleanor. I don't think it's Sveden either come to think of it.

My guess is it's the additional leader for either England or France.

The tweet is clear about new *CIV* and leader. So it can't be Eleanor

Based on the leaks, Mali.
I dare to speculate here. It is clearly a top of a building and the purple background indicates evening. It could be a tip of some renaissance cathedral, so I hope it's some form of Italy.
 
One more general question: Do you think those sneak peeks got deliberately more difficult due to the leak?
I mean, even with a limited choice, those tiny fractures of a picture are hard enough to relate. With no clues at all, I would consider it impossible.

Yes, no doubt about that.
 
For me, the hints are basically useless. They say nothing. We are basically guessing randomly. Based on the color of the sky, I heard Dido ; heard about the hint of chocolate pieces and the domeish style, Mali ; but the domeish could be Swedish, or Ottomans. How is it a hint if the elements we are basing our guess on are previous hint during livestreams, thinking about male/female ratio, reveal-strategy to maintain the hype and possible new gameplay mechanics linked to it?

If the hint is just there to let us talk in nonsense without any serious trace of beginning of possible explanation, I would have prefer not hint at all.

That's not much of a hint, and I seem to get it wrong every time, so I might as well go ahead and guess that it is going to be Canada again.

Well, on the leak posts (FB/Twitter) there aren't many people guessing anyways, a lot of them are just demanding what they want (be it civs, mechanics, balance change) without caring about context. The place where people are actually guessing are here and Reddit, both having touched on the leak already, so I guess FXS decides they can up the difficulty without much loss.
