so PTW may not be worth the 30 dollars.....any worthy new game substitutes?

Shogun is still a good game but it has alot less unit types and its Japan not Europe. Basically I find it more fun to take over Europe rahter than Japan because its more recognisable.

I just bought Civ2: test of time for $10. Haven't played it yet but it looks like civ2+smac.

(I also bought PTW.)

I definately vote for Medieval Total War being an awesome game. I have been playing as the english on the second easiest difficulty level and it has been fun. Time to up the difficulty and take over Europe, N Africa, and the Middle East, again!

World War II: Panzer Claws look interesting. It just shipped, have to see a review for it. WWII RTS, good graphics. Check it out.

Warcraft 3. Not $30, but an amazing game. Or get Spearhead XP for Medal of Honor, or Counter Strike, if you don't have that, or Civ 2, or save that cash up.
