Actually it happened yesterday and I rage quit, gonna try and salvage it now. I have no idea what happened, if this was a coordinate spy attack or just some indie rock bands. I had my focus way to the east on Hungary. My military is thus way east and will take 3-4 turns to get there, hoping my trusty ally Scythia (yellow civ) doesn't get any ideas there.

Looks like it happened over the span of 3 turns. Two indie rockers is all it takes to topple a city. I've used them to devastating effect in other games.

On the plus side, you weren't at war with Scythia, so that's something...

yes, of course there is.
However these logs reset when you close down and start up the game software so you lose them. (ragequit)
The only way to get them back is to restore to before the incident and replay.... and probably watch those bands do the deed.
Spies cannot perform multiple forment unrest missions in the same city at the same time... well not before GS anyway.... so you would have to have 5 civs forment unrest at the same time.
Glad to look at logs for the venerable Mr Osen... but the said logs should be relevant.

I know it does not help but I must say it is great this can happen
... love the bug like GDR coming skittering in to take the city... icing on the cake.

I had already started another game so I guess that's gone. Funny you say bug like. I took the city back the turn after the 2nd screenshot and all those bugs skittered back into the tunnel just bellow the city. Seem to remember they said GDRs couldn't use tunnel in one of the live streams?

With the right technology they can "jump over mountains" which is code for "treats every mountain like it is a tunnel".
