Hey guys,

i´m new in this forum, and i see many things that makes me embarresed.
Sometimes i think, i am a total noob.

first of all a question: what do some guys mean hen they say "i have got some caravans ready to build this " what du caravans to do with building- i thought they bring money and trade points

my tactic at this time is to play at a low level and try to expand as much as possible by trying to avoid any military conflict ( really anoying though in the beginning you dont get a real chance to win a war vs a culture with some cities + walls+ phalanxs ). Building many cities and trying to get a good tech. also building many wonders because i dont know what to do with my production though in rebublic and democracy war sucks. And even when i got tanks and other guys come with chariots i really look bad. am i a too nice guy? ist there any stuff i need to chance ( like attidude or so? ) to get a chance vs even tougher enemies ( warlord and higher )

One of the highest utility purposes of Caravans is shuffling resources between cities. To do this, the target city must have at least one wonder available to build. That way, when arriving you can choose to "contribute to wonder", or whatever the specific wording is. After absorbing the Caravan(s), you can repurpose the resources to anything you want by switching the construction target.

Caravans are great to build when you can't think of anything else that you want to build. You can save them for when they're needed. Say if you have 8 caravans outside a city when you research Religion, it's possible to build J.S. Bach's Cathedral (a vital wonder!) in one turn. Having JS Bach makes it much easier to war in Republic or Democracy.

If you're trying to attack a city that has city walls, bring lots of diplomats. By using industrial sabotage on the city it is possible to destroy city walls (and other buildings). This will save a lot of units when you attack.

The biggest problem when you move to a harder difficulty level is that your cities become unhappy sooner. On Chieftain, the 7th person in a city is unhappy. This decreases by one for each difficulty. (Warlord=6 Prince=5 King=4 Emperor=3) It also takes longer to research new technology.

The AI players require less food to grow their cities and less production to build things also, but I still think the happiness in cities is much more of a challenge to overcome.

In higher difficult levels- when i spot an enemy- shal i try to destroy them completely or try to get peace and keep on evolving?

And an other question: last game i hab many railroads on my island and i was anoyed of sending all my units through the world (no num-block) so i tried the "goto" order and they begann walking, but stopped after 3 moves even if they movvedv all the way on railroads. Why is that and can i do something for my lazyness :/

Your preference, up to your playing style. There are arguments for both approaches.

As for goto, it's really only useful for ships. Land units take brutally inefficient paths, and, as you've noticed, the command is bugged. The game queues moves if you can see a bit ahead. For example, if you press down, down, down, down-left, left, left quickly the unit will follow the path. Personally I make mistakes doing this.
