Some questions about the game.

Hello,

I have recently became interested in Civ4 and i'm planning on buying civ4 tomorrow but a few questions have popped up in my mind these are ;

• If we do an online game will it be the official version or will it be possible to play MOD's online too?
• To play a LAN game with my brother do i have to buy 2x the game or can i play with one CD code?
• Can LAN game's be saved too or is it connection lost,game over(start over)?

The part that I can answer is that you will need to have two copies of the game. It requires the CD to play.

1) Im not sure about playing mods in multiplayer mode, but Im assuming you will be able to do that as long as you both have the same mod.

2) You need to buy 2 copies of the game since it requires that you put the CD in the drive.

3) Yes, the LAN games can now be saved in Civ IV, unlike Civ III PTW. If a players connection drops, the players can wait for him to come back, or have the AI take over for that person, I belive newcomers can even take over existing AI characters half-way through the game.
