Hello just wondering i want to make my own scenarios? What progames do i download? Cheers. Oh yeah its test of time i want to get the progames for.

the best (and only TOT expert as far as I know) person to contact is techumseh. You can PM him directly by clicking his name in the "Scenario making for beginners" thread.

In many respects Test of Time is the same as all other versions. So a lot of what's in that "Scenario making for beginners" thread will apply to ToT too. In fact, there are also a lot of ToT-specific references in that thread.

The main thing you need is the cheat menu. Secondly, Notepad to edit the text files, and finally an image editor like Paint Shop Pro to change the graphics... So that's exactly the same as with all other versions of Civ2.

But as good as that may be, that doesn't really cut it for general-purpose map making.

I made the MGE map editor available for ToT. You can find it on my utility site. In contrast with the MGE editor, though, it can also create gigamaps:
