I was playing as Indonesia (immortal, large Archipelago, standard speed, 15 civs and 25 cs), when I noticed Siam's capital has freaking population of 47. So I went to my spy page to check Ram's city and saw this;

arghh, and the population is still growing.

Wow...

Ramkhamhaeng always seems to be a pain to play against but...

This screenshot takes him to a new level.

He always plays a strong game. Probably because tall city play with CS abuse is one of the more powerful strategies in this game, and he is programmed to play exactly that way.

Doesn't help that Naresuan's Elephants are strong, which means killing him off in the mid game can be difficult while he runs away with science and culture.

Yep, those Jumbos are quite tough and Rammy spams them. He has so many, you typically see the Jumbos running around with modern units.

HOLY UNEMPLOYMENT

I don't understand.... why does he have so many unemployed citizens when he also has so many slots open for specialists?

They provide lots of production (don't ask me why) so if hes trying to build things its sometimes better to have unemployed citizens rather than scientists etc (unless you build Statue of Liberty).

AI always does this when building wonders. Always seem to eek out every last bit of production.

Yet, when I choose production focus in my cities, I always seem to be able to knock off an extra few turns from the build by sorting the workers myself, seeing as the governer loves to keep just a little bit of growth. Cheating swines!!!

This is why we have nukes in this game. To solve the unemployment and unhappiness problems :)

He's the king of food.

Personally, I enjoy the challenge of playing against him, but my first and only game playing as him I got my quickest victory ever on Emperor, and I barely had to try. In the end it was a DV at 299, which is pretty quick for that difficulty level, especially considering I cruised the whole time.

Now I feel he's too easy to be enjoyable.

Production focus? unemployed gives hammers.

He probably ran out of GE slots.

Note that Ram is building a wonder. so he is focusing in production to finish the wonder before everybody else. I would say This is quite smart in AI side.

Also note that Ram is about to get three specialists ( merchant, scientist and writer) in one turn.

GD, those Sea tiles holy start locations, I'd kill to have that many food resources on a start.
