I have a Sony Vaio A170 which, to my knowledge, meets the specifications for the game.
When I start the game I hear the music for the pre-game fireaxis commercial but I do not see the logo. After that the world background appears, but no menu. I hear the music fine.
I have checked out my DIVX settings and everything there appears to be in order.
I have the latest windows updates. I tried to follow the instructions on the official site for ATI video cards but my computer refused to install the driver listed on the website.
I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 video card with 64mb RAM.
Has anyone experienced similar problems?
